restrictions, a large foreign-owned
company (Nestle) got to take
unlimited tap water, bottle it,
and sell it at a huge profit.
Competing operations in California include:
- Coca-Cola Co (Dasani brand)
- PepsiCo Inc (Aquafina brand)
... albeit the latter may be American
companies, they still profited from using
California water while other people
suffered from the water shortage.
