and its regional operating subsidiaries
- Kaiser Foundation Hospitals
- Regional Permanente Medical Groups
with each group operating as a separate
for-profit partnership or professional corporation
in its individual territory, and for which none
of the financial results are released publicly.
With the usual shuffle of money between for-profit and not-for-profit
entities, not to mention the captive customer base of the non-profit
that is directed to the "in-the-family" for-profit regional operating
groups.
