    insurance as he was covered through
    his wife's plan at Goldman Sachs.
     
  • In early 2015 the senator's wife took
    unpaid leave from Goldman Sachs
    for the duration of her husband's
    presidential campaign (losing
    their health care coverage).
     
  • Senator Cruz bought an individual
    preferred provider policy from
    Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.*
     
  • In mid-2015, Blue Cross Blue Shield
    notified its customers that it would
    discontinue its PPO policies at the
    end of the year, but would continue
    offering lower-level HMO policies.
     
  • In January of 2016, Sen. Cruz blamed
    President Obama and "Obamacare"
