Political Factoid
During the great recession
when the Feds lowered the
interest rates to practically
nothing in order to stimulate
the economy,
. . . corporate America
just thumbed its nose
at the American worker
and instead of building
new plants and creating
jobs,
. . . they spent that
low-cost money to
make acquisition
purchases and to buy
back their own stock.
