Political Factoid

Reuters reports that Verizon
and others have been pushing
"Supercookies" onto users'
devices.  These cookies are
undetectable identifiers that
uniquely track the user's
web activity so targeted ads
can be delivered at great profit.
Verizon used them (2012-2014)
and had to pay a $1.35M fine.*
