than about safety.
  • Growing citizen perception

    far exceeds improvement in safety
     
  • Some places have re-timed the traffic lights
    to optimize the probability of traffic violations
     
  • Large profits to the camera companies
    (who get a significant portion of every
    ticket fine collected.)
