Political Factoid

There is an inexpensive
drug that will save a life
if administered in the
case of a drug overdose.

Gov. Paul LePage (R-ME)
vetoed legislation that
would have made it
available in Maine
. . .  because he rejected
the science that it saves
lives, claiming that it
only extends life until
the next such overdose.
I wonder if Governor LePage also
believes using a defibrillator does not
truly save lives,
. . .  that it just extends a life
until the next such event.
