Under the 2012 Republican plan,
seniors would have to pay over 50%
of their Medicare premium costs
by the year 2020 and 68% by 2030.
(Currently seniors pay about 25%.)
Plus, the seniors would still have to pay the full
premium for their private supplemental insurance,
as well as the residual amount which Medicare
and their supplemental insurance do not pay.
