blamed "blacks and Hispanics"
for coming into Maine to sell
drugs and "rape white girls"
-- for which LePage was rightly criticized
. . . but neither LePage
nor the news media seemed
to recognize what should
have been obvious:
Maine is 97% white
and it is the whites who
fuel the demand for the
drug trade.
