Cell phone-using "gappers"
are some of the worst drivers
on the road.
- Drivers staring at their cellphones
at traffic lights, as well as drivers
staring into space with their cell
phones to their ear, may be rather
obvious.
- "Gappers" are drivers who hold
back approaching intersections
leaving a gap in the traffice flow
causing the traffic control sensors
to cut off the flow of traffic in that
lane, leaving the following drivers
frustrated and fuming for not
getting through the intersection
before another long, complete cycle.
The combination of the two really sucks.
