Political Factoid
For years greedy Southern
farmers (a.k.a. white plantation owners)
continually grew cotton to
where it was destroying their
soil and threatening their
economy
. . . until the Black botanist
George Washington Carver
showed that crop rotation
with peanuts (and other crops)
would save and restore
their lands, and save
their economy.
Those Southern farmers are now all
Republicans ... and still embarrassed.*

vindictiveness they seem to exhibit.
