Political Factoid
For years now, the House
Republicans have crippled
the Social Security
Administration "with
budget restrictions and
procedural hurdles that
make it impossible to
quickly hire qualified
judges to process cases"
and leading to a backlog
of over a million cases
waiting for disability
benefits.
The Republicans continue to say,
"No work, no benefits."
. . . even if you are totally disabled,
a K-12 student, elderly, sick,
single mother, etc.
