Political Factoid
After the first full month of
Donald Trump being in office:
"The unemployment rate
ticked down to 4.7% from
4.8% in the previous month.
It's a vast improvement
from 2009, when
unemployment peaked
at 10% after the financial
crisis."

- The 10% spike was caused by the
Republican economic policies under
President G.W. Bush.
- The 4.8% level was the result of
the record period of positive
jobs growth that occurred
between 2009 and when
President Obama left office.
- The 4.7% was most likely a
carryover of Obama policies
than a result of anything
Trump had done so far.
