Senate Majority leader Mitch
McConnell (R-KY) had said
that "nobody in the middle
class is going to get a tax
increase" in the the GOP
senate plan and that it
would lower taxes for
the middle Class.
Later, McConnell tried to
walk that back by saying,
"I misspoke."
The NY Times reported that
while the GOP plan will
indeed cut the taxes for the
wealthy (big time)
. . . the GOP plan
will actually raise the
taxes on millions of
middle-class families.
Duhh!
