In 2018, voters across Arizona
said (at the ballot box) that they
did not want Martha McSally
representing them in the U.S.
Senate.
. . . but Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ),
being a staunch Republican,
said "screw the will of the voters"
and appointed McSally to
replace the other Arizona
senator, Jon Kyl, who suddenly
announced he would resign
at the end of 2018.
