have just as soon have seen
another major recession dip,*
... as evidenced by its:
- Wasting time on debt limit rather
than working on improving the
economy.
- Willingness to actually let the
nation default on its debt.
- Aggressive blocking of funding
for Consumer Protection Agency.
- Efforts to roll back regulations
on financial industry intended to
prevent a repeat of the 2008
collapse.
- Refusal to work on anything
that actually creates meaningful
jobs.
- Opposition to investing in
infrastruction and education.
