Governor Rick Perry (R-TX)
said that every barrel of
Canadian oil piped to their
refineries in Texas means a
barrel of foreign oil the U.S.
does not need to buy.
He seemed to believe that the Texas
gas and oil industry is entitled to
the oil and gas reserves of Canada
... just like they are entitled to the
oil and gas reserves of what
used to be Mexico.
