Political Factoid
Popular internet companies
like Google, Twitter, and
Facebook have been taking
liberties with customer
data.
In fact, virtually every large media,
search, data, finance, and you-name-it
company has been doing so.
Also, all those software
companies (Microsoft, Adobe,
etc.) who constantly cause
computers to "call home."
And, don't forget those giant
cable and phone companies.*
It is called money, greed, and
"what ever the market will bear."

It cannot be called "Laissez-faire"
when it is enforced by a virtual
monopoly.
