labor groups into agreeing
to hefty concessions on each
new contract, all to keep the
airline owners out of bankruptcy.
Now AA has embraced bankruptcy
because it wants to cut $2 billion
in annual costs, most to come
from labor, including the cutting
of 13,000 jobs.
