Political Factoid
Albeit numerous opportunities exist to
reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in
Medicare and other government programs:
- Medicare is not intrinsically broken.
- It has low administrative costs.
- It doesn't pay huge executive salaries.
- It covers seniors' health bills.
- Doctors know it is a reliable payer.
But the Republicans seem bound and determined
to change all of this.
