Political Factoid
Citizens of other nations
are required to give up their
loyalties to those countries
when they become naturalized
American Citizens.
However, non-naturalized
American Citizens, e.g.,
native born Americans,
are free to take on
loyalties to other nations,
with so-called dual citizenship.*
... as many people do for Israel
(e.g., House Majority Leader Cantor),
or Michele Bachmann did
for Switzerland.
