Political Factoid
In the years 2009 to 2012,
the Republicans in Congress
did virtually nothing to stop two
primary drivers of the national
debt, i.e., the war costs and
the partial "tax holiday" for 50%
of Americans.
Instead, these Congressional leaders
spent most of their time and efforts
increasing the debt, by reducing revenues
(as a result of massive layoffs of
government workers) and replacing a
significant portion of the Social Security
and Medicare funding (payroll taxes) with
added debt.
The integrity of hypocrites?
