My friend and I went to register
to vote, but they rejected:
- My driver's license ID
because it was from out-of-state.
- My friend's driver's license
because it had expired.
- My local state university ID
because it did not show an
expiration date.
- My friend's college ID
because it was a private school.
- My birth certificate
for not having been certified
within the last 12 months.
- My friend's birth certificate
for not having an expiration date.
But they did accept our NRA
membership cards.
