Political Factoid

In most of the world, there are no
"major political parties" per se.
  • There are many differing political
groups -- so many, that none of them
    constitutes a majority by itself.

  • Consequently, two or three of the
political parties will agree to form
    a coalition in which they
    compromise among themselves,
such that together they have the
    power to take control.
Anyone who thinks there are
no political coalition
parties in the United States
... should just look at the
Republican Party in 2012.
