Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ)
took office,
and so much bragging
by the governor about
a "Jersey Comeback,"
unemployment had
grown to 9.8 percent
in New Jersey
... the highest in
35 years.
Much of the increased unemployment
due to Christie's severe spending cuts
and laying off of public employees.
