The GOP photo ops during
Hurricane Sandy showed
Mitt Romney collecting
donations of canned food
and household items.
A better photo op might
have been of Mitt Romney
personally donating a
big check to the Red Cross,
while encouraging his supporters
to likewise give what they can afford.
The Red Cross has always said that
money is needed when disaster strikes, as
they do not have the time and resources
to sort through miscellaneous donations
during a disaster period.
