Political Factoid
Vigilante poll watching groups,*
- such as "True the Vote,"
a Texas-based Tea Party spawned group,
- are running aggressive efforts nation wide
- supposedly to catch voting fraud,
- but mainly to confuse and
intimidate voters:
- First time voters
- Unsophisticated voters
- English as second language voters
- Non-white voters
- Non-affluent voters
- Uncertain voters
By using high-tech computer software,
- they match data on property records
and death indexes
such that they can spot any dead people
showing up at the polls and trying to vote.

Heavily funded behind the scenes by
conservative vote-manipulation machines.
