Political Factoid
After losing his bid for President in
2008, Senator John McCain (R-AZ)
became disillusioned and, at times,
acted quite bitter.
McCain never seemed to regain his
constructive leadership in the Senate
(perhaps due in part to old age, health,
and other factors).
But in the twilight of his life,
Sen. McCain demonstrated a spine
like no other Republican and gave
the deciding thumbs-down vote
against abolishing Obamacare.
