Political Factoid

TV commercials can no longer be
more than 2 decibels (db) louder
than the programming around them.
Joe Addalia, at Hearst Television,
says that 2 db is "the difference
between viewers reaching for the
remote and not,
[where] right next to the
volume button is the [change]
channel button."
