Upon leaving Congress,
politicians are barred
from lobbying the House
or the Senate for one year.
However, the very day
they leave Congress,
they can start lobbying
the White House, or more
significantly, any of the
large number of federal
agencies.
The opportunities for corruption are
abundant and pay so extremely well.
