Those who fear gun controls:
- Manufacturers and distributors of guns and
ammunition, including gun shows and back-alley
dealers
They provide big money funding the NRA
and other lobbying efforts against gun
restrictions and controls.
- Militants and others who have a deep-seated
hate for the government
Those who are screaming the loudest
are the most dangerous.
- People who have, and readily get, guns
but shouldn't
This includes convicted felons and other criminals,
and people with mental health problems.
- Self-declared vigilantes and make-believe police
officers
They hide behind "stand your ground" laws and
are itching to pull the trigger on anyone, anytime,
anywhere, any reason.
- Hunters and sportsmen
But why? - There is no effort to take their guns,
and they do not need high-capacity magazines
or assault-style weapons.
- People who feel they have to have a gun for
personal protection
