Various people in the NRA, and
in other right-wing extremist
organizations, seem to be trying
to turn the nation into a police
state.
- Armed security guards in every school
in America
- Locked doors except for the lobby
entrance
- NRA-trained and armed teachers in
every classroom
- Periodic "Red Alert" drills with
sounds of gunfire
- Guns on each side of every bed in
America
- Withdrawal of existing gun control laws
- Stand-your-ground laws, promoting
"shoot first, before someone shoots
you."
Before long, someone will be calling for:
- Strip-searches upon entering a school
building
- Armed marshalls riding shootgun on
every bus
- Encouraging every student to carry
a loaded gun
