The United States Military-Industrial
Complex has what appears to be a
constitutionally protected blank check
as evidenced by the un-funded (i.e.,
deficit) spending for the Iraq and
Afghan wars.
Neither liberals nor conservatives,
neither Democrats nor Republicans
have been able (or willing) to stop
the fiscal bleeding of the nation.
