Political Factoid
After donating $1 Million dollars to the
Republican Governors Association, Rupert
Murdoch (of Fox News and Entertainment
fame) then had his News Corporation give
another $1.25 Millions to the Republican
controlled U.S. Chambers of Commerce.
Murdoch then got very upset when the
second donation became public knowledge
... because he had been assured (by the
Chamber) that no one would ever find out.
Surprise!
Small wonder some of the New Corp
stockholders found it difficult to understand
why Murdoch had spent $1.25 Million of
their money - without even asking - on
Republican Political advertising via the
Chamber of Commerce.
