In most of the red states,
millions of poor people
will be required to buy
private health insurance
at full price (or do without),
... because they do
not earn enough to
obtain a subsidy
under the Affordable
Care Act, but they
earn too much for the
state-limited Medicaid,*
... all because of the
conservative U.S. Supreme
Court, and the Republican
governor and legislature
controlling their state
Medicaid program.
