Political Factoid
The constitution starts out,
"we the people ..." (not we the states*).
However, even though the original
writers of the U.S. Constitution
worked hard to provide fairness among
the diverse interests of the various states,
nothing in the U.S. Constitution provides
for "fairness" or "morality" for individual
persons.
