called a special session of the
state legislature
... to vote on paying a major
ransom demand from The
Boeing Company to keep
future airplane design and
manufacture in the state.
This is the second time. The first time,
the Legislative paid such a ransom
(with the taxpayers money), the company
moved the work (and jobs) out-of-state
anyway.
