There should be a specific tax*
on nuclear energy, that goes
into a fund to pay for the
ultimate disposal of the
nuclear fuel waste material.
It does not matter whether the tax
is applied at fuel source, the power
plant, or where the energy is
consumed,
... as the tax will undoubtedly
be passed down the line to the
consumer.
However, it should be passed down only
to consumers of electricity produced by
nuclear power, and not allowed to be
charged to users of electricity from
other sources.
